- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Went in to get replacement ss card. Card never came and when I called them was told they can't issue card unless I come in. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a representative in the phone and no way to leave a message. When you call the main social security office, they direct to your local office and it's a vicious and nerve wrecking circle! You wait on hold after going through all of the prompts forever and then a recording comes on that states, "thank you for patiently waiting. All of our representatives are busy and can not answer your call. PLEASE TRY YOUR CALL LATER". Later never comes because this is the identical same thing EVERY time you attempt to call them. Should at least set up a que to leave yor number for a return call! Totally frustrated and also with the rude representatives at the toll free main number who won't even transfer you to a supervisor.By Anita Hubbart, December 03, 2016
